Our partnership's goal is to fill unmet gaps in the nutritional needs of Nashua’s low-income youth, including expanding programs to dinner and summers. This fits well with United Way’s mission of fighting for health, education, and economic mobility in our community. It is remarkable to us that in an otherwise well-off community such as Nashua, that there would still exist pockets of extreme poverty, with several schools reporting 70% or more of their students qualifying for free or reduced lunch. Needless to say, the educational outcomes in our community are tremendously impacted when hunger and other basic needs are left un-met. Thank you for donating to our partnership!
