Join Teddy Bear Project, Bronx River Alliance and Riverkeeper for a cleanup and tree planting project inside Bronx Forest for the 11th Annual Riverkeeper Sweep.
Volunteers will meet at Burke Avenue Bridge inside Bronx Forest (near 600 Burke Ave, Bronx, NY 10467). The site is a 1.5 block walk from 2-train subway station Burke Avenue.
We ask all Sweep volunteers to also bring a hat, sunscreen, a full reusable water bottle, and a face mask, work gloves and hand sanitizer. Bring food if necessary.
This site is suitable for elementary-aged children with adult supervision.
*NOTE: By registering on MobileCause, you will ONLY be registering for the cleanup. To register for the tree planting, you must sign up through NYC Parks Stewardship's page. NYC Parks Stewardship will be organizing and overseeing the tree planting project.*
