f.r.e.s.h. is run by a Steering Committee made up of 6-10 individuals that focus on fundraising and membership.
-Fundraising: Planning of all fundraising events and sponsorships. These events include the f.r.e.s.h. Gumbo Cook Off, Helpie Hours and other cause marketing events. Tasks include procuring food donations, silent auction items, and more.
-Membership: Focus on the recruitment, retention and engagement of current and future f.r.e.s.h. members. Strategies include looking for ways to grow membership and engage new young professionals.
We evaluate all interest forms throughout the year and add new steering members in June & December based on attending events, volunteering, and getting to know current members.
