We are proud of MTSU’s rich history in teacher education and the many contributions our graduates have made to young people over the past 107 years. Today, preparing future teachers and school leaders is still central to our mission.
You can support that mission by giving to:
ASPIRE - Emergency fund for students in financial distress during their residency year.
College of Education Scholarship – Scholarship support for students who have been accepted to the teacher education program.
Cornelia Freeman Cooper Scholarship in Education – Support under-represented minority students.
Department of Elementary and Special Education – Exceptional elementary and special education teachers are needed throughout the state of Tennessee and across the country. Your gift will support the department’s most pressing needs.
Dyslexia Center - Support for evaluation and research for students who display characteristics of dyslexia.
Professional Counseling Enrichment Fund – provides supervised training experiences to graduate students in the MTSU Center for Counseling and Psychological Services training facility.
Secondary Education Scholarship – Support future middle and high school teachers.
