The Brazos Valley Disaster Recovery Fund supports Brazos Valley residents impacted by disasters such as fires, flooding, tornados, weather events and other multi-family emergencies. The fund supports local disasters as they occur and any funds not utilized for a current crisis will be used for future disasters within the Brazos Valley including Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Leon, Madison, Robertson and Washington counties.

United Way of the Brazos Valley works directly with local nonprofit agencies to address the most pressing needs of the impacted individuals and families. The Brazos Valley Volunteer Organizations Active in Disaster (BV-VOAD) will approve the use of the funds through input from the unmet needs committee
