As part of our commitment to supporting our community in every way we can, JQ is eager to be launching a series of virtual support groups to meet our communities needs where they are.

Led by skilled and passionate facilitators and supervised by a licensed clinical social worker, these groups are meant to offer guidance, education, and support on a variety of issues while facilitating a mutually supportive community of support group participants.

• A General Support Group is open to all community members, LGBTQ+ or ally, and of all ages, and will be hosted weekly on Mondays from 6:30 - 7:30pm PT on Zoom and led by Arianna Armstong, M.A. (she/they), MSW Candidate, May 2022. • A Persian Support Group for Iranian LGBTQ+ young adults in their 20’s and 30’s will launch on Tuesday March 23rd from 7:30 - 8:45 pm PT, and led by Arya Pedoeim (he/him), Registered Associate Clinical Social Worker, ASW 99561, Supervised by Mastaneh Moghadam, LCSW
  
  
• A Trans & Nonbinary Group for trans and nonbinary adults 18+ will launch on Wednesday, March 24th from 7 - 8:15 pm PT, and led by Michael Levine (they/them), Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, AMFT 124078, Employed by JQ International, Supervised by Mastaneh Moghadam, Licensed Clinical Social Worker
   
• A Parents of LGBTQ+ Youth Group will launch on Thursday, March 25th from 7 - 8 pm PT, led by Mastaneh Moghadam, M.S.W., LCSW (she/her), License No. LCSW 23095, for couples, guardians, or caretakers of youth may sign up for this support group together.

JQ's donation based support groups are available to participants in a pay-what-you-can structure. All identity-specific JQ support groups have a value of $250 for the 12-week experience, and we appreciate donations at any capacity that will help JQ underwrite our programs and services. Please feel free to select or enter the amount that best reflects your choice below.

While a donation of any size is encouraged, it is not required to participate.
