So many of our students and their families are affected by this pandemic. How can you help? The University has several existing funds that were set up by generous alumni like you to help students who are having an emergency.
All funds go directly to support student needs such as food, rent, books, and to help with other unexpected emergencies that threaten their academic success.
MTSU Scholarship - General scholarship made available to the most financially needy students.
Student Emergency Fund - Emergency Funding for students who encounter a sudden financial emergency. These are grants, not loans. They are designed to keep students enrolled and progressing towards graduation.
Student Food Pantry - Donated items or money assists an increasing number of hungry college students who have food insecurity or need personal care products.
Safety Net Fund - Support is needed for emergency funding for our students who have unstable housing or are homeless.
Student Health Services - Student Health Services remains open during this crisis helping students with medical care and pharmacy needs. Funds will be for supporting health and wellness for all students.
Veterans Center General’s Assistance Fund - 20% of MTSU’s student veterans are attending classes without G.I. Bill benefits. Those benefits have expired or are exhausted. THE GENERAL’S FUND was established to fill the gaps and help veterans in need of financial assistance.
College Emergency Funds - funding for students in a particular college or unit who are in need of emergency support.
Thank you for your support of our students!
