The City of Albany has partnered with United Way of the Greater Capital Region to provide this year's Cash for Coats drive.  Prior to the pandemic, many of our neighbors in Albany already struggled with the life-changing effects of poverty.  COVID-19 has accentuated existing challenges and inequities and this year, there has been an unprecedented increase in the need for basic essentials.

This year, we are going to provide more coats and winter gear than ever - but we need your help!

The Cash for Coats Drive is a community event collecting funds toward the purchase of NEW winter items for Albany kids in need.  By making a one-time or reoccurring donation, you can help provide winter attire to individuals and families to help keep them warm this winter.  

Over the years, the Cash for Coats program has distributed tens of thousands of new winter clothing items to Albany schoolchildren. Lodge’s offers a significant discount on any items purchased for the Cash for Coats Drive, maximizing the impact of each cash donation.
