On Wednesday, December 18, Paulist Fr. Eric Andrews, president of the Paulist Fathers, turns 55 years old.
December 18 also is the 200th anniversary of the birth in 1819 of Servant of God Isaac Hecker, founder of the Paulist Fathers. It is the culmination of a year of events celebrating Fr. Hecker's birthday bicentennial.
To celebrate these two birthdays, friends of Fr. Eric – and fans of Fr. Hecker's ministry – may contribute to this special fundraising campaign to benefit the Paulist Fathers.
Funds raised will be used to support the Paulists' ministries like Busted Halo and Landings International; vocations outreach; seminarians' and novices' education and formation; and care of senior Paulist Fathers.
Thank you for your consideration and support!
From Fr. Eric:
I pray that you and your loved ones are in the midst of a blessed Advent! Thank you for considering this request to galvanize our ministries!
When he was alive, Servant of God Isaac Hecker asked the Paulists "to use all forms of modern communication to share the Good News." I am pleased to report we are heeding Fr. Hecker's missionary call!
Please make a gift at whatever level works best for you. We need contributions of all sizes for this effort to be a success.
I would be overjoyed, not offended, if you gave one dollar for each year of my life so far: $55. Better yet, a gift of $200 would honor Fr. Hecker’s bicentennial and help us continue his legacy!
Regardless of your ability to give, pray for us! We pray that you, your family members and friends have a joyful Christmas and a wonderful New Year!
Sincerely yours in Christ,
