Mobile County

Help today's youth become tomorrow's leaders in Mobile County! No matter the project, Alabama 4-H in Mobile County grows confident young people with the life skills to thrive in today’s world and succeed in their boldest dreams for tomorrow. The CYI club made pillows as their Community Service project. These pillows will be donated to kids who have cancer. Let's send two 4-H members to 4-H summer camp to learn new leadership skills. It's $106 dollars to send one 4-H member to summer camp. At nearly 160,000 members and participants strong, Alabama 4-H is the largest youth development organization in the state of Alabama. Supported by families, partners, staff, volunteers, and youth, we have the strength and capacity to grow young people with the confidence, curiosity, and life skills to become college, career, and family ready. Alabama 4-H, part of the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, has expanded its resources to include not only traditional programs, such as 4-H livestock judging and 4-H competitive events, but also new opportunities as well. 4-H offers a variety of clubs in Mobile County for youth to become involved in their community. These are just a few of the many ways your gift can provide endless smiles in today’s Alabama 4-H. Help young people and their families gain the skills needed to be a proactive force in Mobile County and to develop ideas for a more innovative world. “I strongly believe that two of the greatest things 4-H has taught me is to value and appreciate the differences in people; and that it is my responsibility and privilege to help others through service.” Marion Bell2020-21 Alabama 4-H State Ambassador
