We need the support of families, partners, staff, volunteers, and youth to help young people to develop the confidence, curiosity, and life skills to become college, career, and family ready. Alabama 4-H, part of the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, has expanded its resources to include not only traditional programs, such as 4-H livestock judging and 4-H competitive events, but also new opportunities as well. One such non-traditional program is 4-H RiverKids, the kayaking education and safety program. Funds provided to Escambia County 4-H will go to help provide necessary equipment for instruction and safety, including sit-on-top kayaks and life-vests (PFDs). This equipment will also be able to expand the reach and availability of RiverKids programming to the entire southwest region of Alabama. Your gift can provide endless smiles in today’s Alabama 4-H.
