Byron Acuff We are raising awareness and funds for the mission of the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation. As many of you know, Byron suffered from Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF). IPF is a fatal disease that causes scarring of the lungs, which robs the IPF patient the ability to breathe and has a 3-5 year life expectancy. Carlos Santiago III Carlos 'Los' Santiago III was our beloved son. He was a wonderful brother, great friend, amazing son, and one of the best people we have ever known. His amazing smile had the power to light up any room and make everyone in it feel happier and smile as well. He was always willing and never hesitated to help anyone in need.Even through his toughest times battling IPF, when he was in so much he could barely walk, his always positive attitude and outlook on life never wavered. He cheered us up instead of us helping him. He always encouraged us to live our lives and not worry about him. He was always sending silly pictures on Instagram or links to funny stories he found while surfing the net, all to spread joy which we think was his mission in life. In that mission, even though his life was cut much too short, he succeeded in spectacular fashion.Los loved family, friends, and his Pitbull Dutchess, who recently joined him in heaven after a prolonged illness of her own. Even though he was a big guy, babies found him irresistible. They treated him like the big teddy bear he was. Los had the rare ability to make anyone around him feel at ease and want to tell him all of their problems. Maybe it was his constant positive outlook on life. He never let anything or anyone keep him down for long. He was truly a blessing to us all. We miss that smile everyday. In memory of Carol Marie Gass. Carol was a one of a kind truly beautiful person inside and out. She gained her wings July 22, 2021 after secretly suffering from pulmonary fibrosis for the last few years. The memories with Carol will never be forgotten and the love she showed will be with us forever. Carol had two boys, Davy and Cameron. They were her pride and joy and loved to talk about them to anyone she met. Carol loved her husband Mitchell and their dogs although they are a handful she wouldn’t have wanted it differently. In loving memory of Catherine Jean Wood Ferguson Please donate in the name of Catherine Ferguson, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and mama to so many, so that a cure and/or treatments to prolong life for sufferers of this terrible disease can be found.Mom was diagnosed with IPF sometime in 2014. When she learned it was incurable, she decided not to tell her family. In 2016, we began to see the terrible effects of this disease as she became dependent on oxygen 24/7. On Oct. 18, 2018 she passed away, leaving her earthly family, to join her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in her forever for eternity home.
