"Pave The Way" is our campaign to restore, repair and improve the Principal's Courtyard at Loughlin. Our stairs are in immediate need of repair, we are overdue in building a handicap accessible ramp, and finally, we will create a welcoming courtyard with an attractive brick pathway. Students spend a significant amount of time throughout their four years in the courtyard leading from the school building to the yard. Loughlin alumni fondly recall their time sitting along the concrete bleachers studying or socializing with friends. Although a large and functional space, the courtyard has never served as a welcoming area; encouraging student or visitor interaction. Our goal is to add benches and chairs for the use of students, faculty, alumni, and others. Of immediate concern, however, are the cracks and holes, made worse through the recent construction. Importantly, we are planning to build a wheelchair ramp; creating easy building access for those in wheelchairs on walkers. To date, our only point of access for individuals in wheelchairs or walkers is a circuitous route through the kitchen and cafeteria on our ground floor. Buying a brick, bench or other naming opportunity will directly support completion of this vital project. Thank you for your consideration.

Class of 1990

Class of 1990, almost 30 years ago we graduated from the best High school in the World. Some of the many memories we’ve had were not just lifelong friends, starring moments as Athletics, Artist, and Astonishing students, but the sound educational foundation that we received from such an amazing institution. We the class of 1990 have the opportunity to stamp our blueprint on the grounds of Bishop Loughlin, along with giving back to allow another student the chance to have the same profound experience. The Pave the way Campaign is Bishop Loughlin’s initiative to restore, repair, and improve the grounds of Bishop Loughlin High School. By simply pledging $,1000 we can support this effort. We are asking each Classmate of the 91 members on our Facebook page to pay $11.00 to help us meet this goal. If you’re all in with THE CLASS of 1990 come forward and pledge to support Loughlin’s future students one day become great Alumni like we are today.q
