Playing collegiate sports demands us to fundraise on behalf of our athletic teams. Women's Basketball =$300 Get to Know Lexi Hill: 1. What Animal Best Represents You? Why? I think a wolf would best represent me. I’m an ambitious loyal person who wants whatever’s the best for my group of friends or team. 2. Who is Your Favorite Athlete? Why? Lauren Cox is my favorite athlete. She has represented Baylor beautifully on and off the floor, and the fact she continued to be the best teammate she could be even when she went down in the championship game, that inspires me to be the best teammate I can be. 3. Who First Introduced You to Basketball? My parents placed me in winter leagues when I was six, but I really fell in love with it when I started playing for my middle school team. 4. If You Could Be Anywhere in the World, Where Would You Be? Why?I would be in England. I am an Anglophile which means I love British history. So to be in England would be a dream come true.? 5. Dear Bison Supporter: Thank you for visiting my page! I represent Gallaudet University Athletics competing in both volleyball and basketball. Playing two different collegiate sports demands us to fundraise on behalf of both programs. Volleyball & Women's Basketball = ($475) Get to Know Malia Zornoza: 1. Why Did You Decide to Play Sports at the Collegiate Level? I play basketball because it is my favorite sport. I want to continue after high school and get the chance to play with my former opponents. I play volleyball too. I enjoy playing volleyball so I think I should grab the opportunity and play at the collegiate level. 2. What is Your Proudest Athletic Accomplishment Since You Began Playing Sports? The proudest accomplishment thus far recently happened during my last high school season: I am the first and only female basketball player to reach 1,000 career points at Fremont. In the same season, I received the Golden Eagle Award (Most Outstanding Student-Athlete at Fremont). 3. Who First Introduced You to Basketball? Daryl Wetzel was my third-grade coach and made me fall in love with the sport. 4. Why do You Love Gallaudet? It is the only college in the world where I can play with Deaf teammates. 5.
