Please consider a donation to help improve the student-athlete experience and meets Gallaudet 's Student Learning Outcomes where our students continue to learn about culture, identity, critical thinking, knowledge and inquiry, and last but not least ethics and social responsibility. In the summer of 2019, the team went to Costa Rica and did two events with the deaf community in Costa Rica; visit with Hands On Lesco and a Deaf elementary school. We are now starting another campaign for the next summer foreign tour trip for the summer of 2023. The trip to Africa would be a great opportunity for our student athletes to meet the student learning outcomes placed by the university for each student. Your support and donation whether small or large goes a long way to support the men's basketball program and its mission in improving the lives of our student-athletes and those around them and beyond. Each donation is tax deductible and no donations are too small. You also have the option of making a monthly donation. Thank you very much for your consideration and support! Go Bison!

Dear Softball Supporter, As the head coach of the Gallaudet University Softball Program, I am thrilled to invite you to our upcoming charity event to support our student-athletes. Gallaudet University, located in the heart of Washington, D.C., is the world’s only university with programs and services specifically designed for deaf and hard-of-hearing students. Our softball program prides itself on challenging our student-athletes to pursue excellence in all areas of their lives, including academics, relationships, athletics, and servant leadership within our community. We have a high standard for ourselves in character development as well as how we care for one another. As Gallaudet’s budget distribution for athletics remains stagnant, keeping up with the rising cost of travel and necessary equipment is challenging. Therefore, we are organizing this to raise funds to help offset the cost of equipment and travel for our student-athletes. We would be honored to have your presence at the games and appreciate any support you can provide. Your charitable gift will help improve the student-athlete experience and help us continue building the BISON standard. Thank you, Gallaudet Softball Team justen.burns@gallaudet.edu

Any amount of donation will be much appreciated. This definitely will help my team and me, as a student-athlete. Thank you!
Hello, My name is Noah Valencia and I have been playing for Gallaudet Men's Basketball program for the past three years, contributing my energy and time to winning in games and life. I will be playing at the World Deaf Basketball Championships this upcoming June and July in Lublin, Poland, and then travel to Costa Rica with the team in August. This experience is a dream experience for a player like me; however, it is not easy to pay for both experiences. This kind of experience will help me improve my game and improve the team's chemistry. This trip is something special to me as it is the first time ever that Gallaudet decided to start the season early by playing in another country. I am honored to be part of this journey. This kind of trip is a great closure to my basketball journey as my first toy was a basketball. My first clothes was a yellow Lakers' Shaquille O'Neal uniform. My first shoes were mini Michael Jordan shoes. I was born to play basketball and I have been playing the game for 20 years. It is time to close my collegiate chapter but to do it in the best way is attending Costa Rica and playing there. Any donations would be greatly appreciated as I believe that this experience will help the team's growth in the journey of winning a championship in the end. It starts with you. A small amount of money will help me greatly with the funds that I need to earn to go to Costa Rica along with my team. Together, we make a difference.
Family & Friends of the Gallaudet Men's Basketball team, Please help donate and support our Men's Basketball. We usually seek for donations to help improve the student-athlete experience, offset the cost for equipment and travel. But this summer, we have an exciting opportunity for our hard working student-athletes to travel out of the country and share their experience with others in Costa Rica. We will be traveling to Costa Rica on Aug 14 and return on Aug 22. We will share our skills with Deaf children in Costa Rica by giving them a free basketball clinic and we will also volunteer with the Special Olympics. In addition we will play 3 games with teams from Costa Rica. We are working hard to fundraise with Chipotle dinners and car washes to name some ways we are fundraising for the trip. This trip is allowable by the NCAA once every 4 years which is commonly done elsewhere but never ever before at Gallaudet. Your support whether small or big, one time or monthly, will be a big help in achieving our goals which is to be the best we can be everyday! Each donation is tax deductible. Thank you very much in advance for your consideration and supporting us. If you have any questions, please contact Coach Kovacs at kevin.kovacs@gallaudet.edu.

Hello family and friends, I am excited to be home after a tough but successful and exciting freshmen year at Gallaudet University. I completed my first year of college with just under a 3.0 GPA and scored 4 goals for Gallaudet's men soccer team. I am reaching out for help with my college's Soccer Program to improve the student-athlete experience, by requesting donations to offset the cost for equipment and travel. Thank you for your prayers and support. Kelly Grant
