I am excited to announce that I will be fundraising for Special Olympics this year! Special Olympics is an amazing organization that is dedicated to providing year-round sports training and athletic competition for individuals with intellectual disabilities. The organization's mission is to empower individuals with intellectual disabilities to become physically fit, productive and respected members of society through sports training and competition. Through Special Olympics, athletes have the opportunity to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community. Special Olympics not only helps to improve physical fitness and motor skills, but also builds self-confidence, promotes inclusion and acceptance within communities, and provides athletes with access to health screenings, education and leadership opportunities, and other resources to help them succeed in all aspects of life. As a supporter of Special Olympics, I believe in the organization's mission and the positive impact it has on the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities. That's why I am fundraising for Special Olympics this year. I want to do my part to support the organization and the athletes it serves. With your help, we can make a real difference in the lives of these individuals and their communities. I hope you will consider supporting me in my fundraising efforts for Special Olympics. The Special Olympics provides its athletes with these exciting community opportunities and assists all participants in developing life long skills, support, and friendships that lead to a life balanced with joy, love, passion and hard work. Together I believe that we can continue to strengthen that dedication and break isolation.
