In lieu of bridal or couple shower gifts, we'd like to raise funds for a few causes near and dear to our hearts -- and the hearts of people we love. Thank you to our friends working in the disability advocacy, accessibility, and inclusion spaces, and thank YOU for your generosity!

Hello I am a 14 year old named Hailey I am very passionate in everything I do but especially in Life skills and Special Olympics. This year has really really opened my eyes. First semester I was in Life Skills with Mrs.Ohlde, Ms.Sydney, Mrs.Beavers, and a great friend that was a student peer with me. I’m SO grateful I got to experience this. The Life Skills students are the absolute sweetest and have such awesome things about them their creativity is absolutely amazing. Then after 1st semester Unified came along I had never heard of this and it made my day. I got very interested in this so me and my friend made shirts and came out to support them watching them playing basketball and cheering was so amazing! Soon we are starting Unified exercises from Special Olympics and I can’t wait! After this I have been thinking about carriers and getting more involved. Im hoping to start something big soon if I can’t get my own website and do designs to sell but to go bigger I want to start raising money for these amazing people who have made my life better! We are hosting a basketball knockout tournament at Yale to raise money for Special Olympics! Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a range of Olympic-type sports for over 5 million children and adults with intellectual disabilities around the world. Special Olympics allows athletes of all abilities to be leaders on their teams, compete for gold, and have fun with their friends. We want to celebrate everyone's participation in sports by supporting Special Olympics' mission of inclusion and acceptance through our own tournament!

After creating our WCIH sports magazine which mostly focused on Sports Day, we are now raising money for Special Olympics! At Wellington, we are a kind and inclusive community, and Special Olympics is a global movement of people creating a new world of inclusion and community, where every single person is accepted and welcomed, regardless of ability or disability. This is a great cause which can help to create a better world for all.

Serve for Disability Pride! This is a Volleyball Tournament organized in order to raise money for the Special Olympics. Either donate in cash and we will donate it to the organization or be one of the first 16 teams to sign up for this exciting tournament. Price is $10 a person and 6 people per tea. Disclaimer: There MUST be 6 people on the team.
