As someone who has been actively involved through the Special Olympics and has enjoyed every experience with the organization, I am passionate to be raising money to support the cause. Making the world a more inclusive place is incredibly important to me, and by gathering donations I would love to support the many amazing athletic communities that the Special Olympics fosters for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Good afternoon, My company is doing a one day golf tournament. We have about 5 - 6 teams of four currently planning on playing. We wanted to create an opportunity on each of the 9 holes to do some sort of charity fundraiser. I've personally been involved with the Special Olympics and absolutely love this organization. I'd love to be able to donate all of our proceeds to the Special Olympics that we collect. Please let me know how I'm able to go about this. Our event is Sunday 8/6. Thank you!

RPS has a culture of teamwork, empathy, and taking the initiative. This culture is built on the foundation of our shared values, some of which state: “We all need one another. We are all cogs in a wheel,” “Empathy for the other person is not a weakness,” “We adhere to the highest standards of moral and ethical behavior,” and “We run to problems, not away from them.” That last one, Adam Mazan, Vice President Pacific Region, and his team in southern California took quite literally. They were looking to make an impact. They were looking to be Better Together, but how? Adam and his team settled upon the idea of a charity run. However, it wouldn’t be any standard 5K or half-marathon…or even a full marathon. To make a difference, they were looking to be different. Run 36 miles in 36 hours! Work some, then run some. Eat. Sleep. Work. Run. Repeat! Join us in supporting Adam and his team as they become Better Together and run to benefit some of their favorite charities. Some team members plan on running all 36 miles themselves, while others will be doing it as a relay team. This team proves that when you work together, you can make things better!

Honored to share that I'll be serving on the Special Olympics Arizona new Young Professionals Committee. This organization has been close to my heart since a friend & I started a Students for Special Olympics Advocacy group during our college days, participated in polar plunges alongside athletes, volunteering at annual games, playing unified basketball and venturing over the edge - I'm thrilled to be involved once again with this life changing organization.Exciting things are coming from fun volunteering opportunities, to exclusive fundraising events - would love to have my network alongside me
