Greetings! The picture above is a photo of my two sons. Why am I raising funds for BBYO? It's because I 100% believe that BBYO can make a difference in the lives of jewish teens. It did for both of my boys. They made and solidified friendships, remained a part of a jewish community, learned leadership skills and business skills as well as interpersonal skills. They learned how to run for office and mentor other teens like themselves. THIS mom has seen BBYO make a difference in the lives of my teens AND the teens in the Great Midwest Region. My older son and younger son both could talk to you for hours on the benefits of BBYO and how it has changed their lives! Please give and give generously. I have set my goal at $360 dollars. I myself will contribute dollar for dollar on every dollar I raise up to that $360 doubling the contribution to $720!!! On 12/3/19 I will make that contribution. #givingBBYOday is a part of the Giving Tuesday campaign that supports nonprofits such as BBYO. Every dollar donated to Liberty Region will stay in Liberty. Liberty Region, which includes parts of Pennsylvania, New York and Delaware is my home region and has over 700 members. We have a tight-knit, vibrant community that has 5 conventions a year. BBYO helped me to able to stay connected to Judaism after my Bar Mitzvah, like many others. This community means a lot to me, and I want more Jewish high schoolers to have the same opportunity to experience Liberty Region and all it has to offer for themselves. All we need is the funds to give them the opportunity.
