Support for Summer: Summer Beyond Limits Center Project founded by Jonathan Valenzuela, 2020 Diploma Program Graduate I have had the opportunity to attend summer programs at institutions such as Stanford, Harvard University, and, which have taught me not only about their respective areas of study, but also about myself. The programs that I have attended have helped me think about my college plans, as well as my life beyond formal education, including what I want to pursue as a career. As a first-generation low-income student, summer learning opportunities are far and few between. I struggled with covering the cost of the Yale Young Global Scholars program, which I attended in the summer of 2019. But, I was able to attend because East Bay Center gave me $1,000 to fill the gap. Won’t you consider helping other students take advantage of these special opportunities?
