Hi! As you may know, BBYO is an important part of my life. I am currently serving as Manhattan Region’s 1st Regional Sh’licha, or Vice President of Jewish Enrichment and Community Service. This position has given me the opportunity to educate teens in BBYO on Judaism, along with planning meaningful service initiatives. But more than just the leadership opportunities, BBYO has introduced me to some amazing people. I’ve met friends from all over the United States, along with Canada, Mexico, London, Australia, Colombia, Argentina, Israel, and many other places. The bonds and memories created in BBYO will definitely last a lifetime! I want to ensure that BBYO has the resources to continue providing Jewish teens a safe space. I hope that in the years to come, there will be even more teens in NYC, like me, who are interested in planning Shabbat services and volunteering.
