Hi Everyone, Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my page!! As many of you know, over 10 years ago, Nicholas and I put together a bowling team the "Sweeney Strikers" to support Family Services mentoring programs. Well here we are, and at least one of us (yup me) is still at it. Mentors can be the one thing that turns a child's life around. They provide guidance, support, and friendship and are often the only consistent person in their mentees life. This year, with the challenges that the pandemic has created, mentors are working harder than ever to keep their mentees safe, focused on school and on the right track. Hi Friends/Family It's time for our annual fundraiser for mentoring, and I want you to know why I mentor and why your support means so much to me and the families with whom I work. Here is a letter of thanks I received from a family I have known for 7 years. Your donation will help support her family and others like her. From the bottom of our hearts my family and I would like to thank you and everyone in the agency for all that you do. Many times my family and I have found our selves in situations when we feel like giving up.
