Nearly everyone is touched by cancer. For me, my father's battle with lung cancer was long and often lonely. I wish that he had known about Cancer Lifeline. Everyone is touched by cancer at some point in their lives, either as a patient or as a loved one. Cancer Lifeline helps thousands of cancer patients build strength through our support groups, classes in nutrition, exercise, personal expression, stress reduction, and personalized emotional support. I hope you can join me and my friends and support Cancer Lifeline with your gift today.
Please join me in supporting Cancer Lifeline, an organization which is near and dear to my heart. They provide amazing support services to cancer patients in our community - and all services are FREE! As an oncology nurse and cancer survivor, I know how important it is to help people and families with the emotional impact of cancer - it takes more than medical care to manage this difficult journey. And I can only imagine how difficult it must be coping with cancer during this pandemic. Please help Cancer Lifeline make a difference in people's lives by making a donation to this incredible organization.
Every year, Cancer Lifeline helps thousands of patients with cancer by providing support groups, educational classes, exercise programs, and a patient assistance fund, all free of charge. Cancer Lifeline’s mission is to be the go- to support system- emotionally, financially, for every patient touched by cancer. It is a very personal mission for me, and one that I’ve dedicated my career to. It’s been my privilege to be part of the Cancer Lifeline family since the summer of 2019, as a Board member and class facilitator. Join me in supporting Cancer Lifeline’s mission so that no one touched by cancer has to go through this journey alone. Please donate to this special organization so that all resources remain free and available for all.
I'm fundraising for Cancer Lifeline because facing cancer diagnosis and treatment is something no one should do alone. Cancer Lifeline provides excellent emotional and mental health support to everyone living with cancer. Our programs are completely free to clients and we need your help to keep it that way. Thank you so much for considering a donation, it means a lot to me personally and the whole Cancer Lifeline community!

Hello to all of the lovely people in my life! Most of you know that I've been fortunate to work with Cancer Lifeline for the past 8 years. From working as a Counseling Intern at the Swedish Cancer Institute to making my way into the role of Program Director at Cancer Lifeline, my journey has been filled with rewarding moments and experiences serving people living with cancer. Cancer likes to creep in quietly and makes its way through all facets of life. Our work, dreams, families, futures, emotions, experiences, identities - uprooted and reorganized. These are the authentic experiences for people and families facing cancer. There is no one path but a series of ups and downs and many bumps along the way. Some find hope in their journey while others face tremendous pain and loss. I have been witness to the impacts cancer has on a life. Cancer brings plenty of unknows. The one thing I DO know is that Cancer Lifeline has been there with open arms providing emotional support, empowerment, practical tools, community and education for almost 50 years FREE to all people living with cancer. Please join me in raising funds for the FREE programs and services Cancer Lifeline delivers to our wonderful community. In health, Meghan Cancer Lifeline Program Director
Hello, I lost a dear friend of mine just over a year ago. I struggled through that loss and think about him daily. Loss is a very difficult roller coaster of emotions and everyone deals with them differently. It is great to have resources available to you if the need arises. For nearly 48 years, Cancer Lifeline has helped thousands build strength through support groups, classes in nutrition, exercise, personal expression, stress reduction, personalized emotional support, and financial support. This year, from March 14th through April 17th, we are holding our annual fundraiser Breakfast with Friends online. Our Breakfast celebrates our role in the local cancer community and brings together clients, facilitators, donors, sponsors, hospital partners, board members and staff. I invite you to help support this organization that is so important to me and my family. Please consider making a donation https://app.mobilecause.com/vf/Lifeline/StevenGerlock today to help us raise these needed funds so we can make sure that our programs remain free and accessible to all cancer patients and their families. Sincerely, Steven Gerlock
I'm fundraising for Cancer Lifeline again this year because they continue to do amazing work right here in our local community. Breakfast With Friends has been a joyous celebration of Cancer Lifeline for many years and while we can’t meet in person this year we can still celebrate. My brother is dealing with metastatic kidney cancer, so this year is even more personal to me as I struggle to help him from a distance. Many of us and our families are touched by cancer and can understand the importance of the support Cancer Lifeline provides. I am fundraising for Cancer Lifeline! They do phenomenal work - supporting those who have been diagnosed with cancer, and their families. As a breast cancer survivor, I know how isolating and hard a cancer diagnosis can be. Cancer Lifeline provides counseling, financial assistance, nutrition and fitness programs, and most importantly, a community that can provide support at a time someone may need it most. Please consider contributing - no donation is too small. Please help me reach my goal!

Donations help keep our programs FREE of charge, that is more important to those with living cancer and their families than ever before. As you know I work for Cancer Lifeline, you may not know that it was the first place I went to seek and received support when I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer nearly 17 years ago. It's a home away from home for so many, just like me. Although our programs are all online right now, the community is strong and that is because of the support of our donors, volunteers, family & friends. Thank you for keeping our circle of support STRONG! Nicole Taylor Program Coordinator for Cancer Lifeline 17 year Breast Cancer Survivor
I'm fundraising for Cancer Lifeline because they do amazing work. Your donation keeps all their services free. They've made an amazing transition to providing everything virtually, helping even more people. Thanks for taking a moment to check it out!
Watch my adorable puppy and donate to Cancer Lifeline! Thank you so much! h
I’ve always said that asking for money is a very difficult thing to do, especially in these times. However, Cancer Lifeline is an exception. The reason is simple: after working at Cancer lifeline for over 23 years, I can say passionately and without hesitation that the services Cancer Lifeline provide to everyone touched by cancer make a profound impact on people’s lives. I certainly know first hand because I’ve used Cancer Lifeline’s services. To be deeply seen, listened to and supported during life-threatening-illness is exactly what is needed in the midst of chaos. Support comes in many forms, whether it’s emotional support after hearing the diagnosis of cancer for the first time or trying to establish some kind of normalcy by taking a class to improve ones health, Cancer Lifeline offers outstanding programs by an professional, well trained and deeply compassionate staff. Please consider giving whatever you can to help support the work of Cancer Lifeline.
It's that time of year again! I am honored to be participating in this year's virtual Breakfast with Friends event. This annual event that raises funds for all of Cancer Lifeline’s support services from classes and educational programs to the lifeline and support groups. The revenue from this year’s event will impact the lives of over 7,500 men and women living with cancer. This year's event is especially important as so many patients are experiencing financial hardship, loneliness and isolation during the pandemic. Cancer Lifeline allows patients to connect with others going through a similar journey. I would greatly appreciate your support. You CAN make a difference in so many lives through supporting this effort. With love, Tiffany
Hello family and friends... Welcome to my Breakfast with Friends page! Like last year, this fabulous fundraising event is coming to you virtually. What a year it has been, right! While I have been officially retired from the staff of Cancer Lifeline for a year now, I am still very connected, giving presentations and facilitating support groups as needed. I could not be more impressed with this organization right now!! When the pandemic hit and created a massive shift in our day-to-day lives, it didn’t take long for Cancer Lifeline to jump into action and quickly figure out how to provide clients with the programs and services they needed more than ever. Support groups, classes and presentations all went on-line! A year later, Cancer Lifeline’s outstanding and robust programming is reaching MORE people than ever! Whether a yoga class, nutrition class, support group or presentation, new clients are joining constantly. People from all over the state as well as across the country are signing up and attending programs. And...everything Cancer Lifeline offers is FREE OF CHARGE and has been for almost 50 YEARS! In some ways it is not a surprise that attendance is increasing, considering that the pandemic has only served to magnify the uncertainty, stress, fear, anxiety and isolation inherent in living with cancer. So, what does Cancer Lifeline provide to help people manage these issues? Cancer Lifeline programs and services focus on developing social CONNECTIONS, re-orienting and nurturing a sense of PURPOSE & FLEXIBILITY and above all, creating a sense of HOPE. Please join me in raising funds to support this INCREDIBLE organization so they can continue providing connection, education, hope and strength to all those impacted by cancer. Mary Ellen Shands
We have learned that in this difficult time, the services Cancer Lifeline provides are more critical than ever. Given the strains upon mental health for so many in the general population, the impacts we all feel from the pandemic are even more dire for the people who are dealing with a cancer diagnosis. Cancer Lifeline programs bring a sense of community to those who are incredibly isolated, anxious, and seeking emotional support and reliable information. I hope you’ll help us with a donation today so we can continue offering our free programs to support some of the most vulnerable in our community! Thank you & stay strong!

Breakfast with Friends is our annual fundraiser. Your donation helps keep our programming and support groups free and accessible for the thousands of clients utilizing our services each year. Thank you for supporting the hard work done by the Cancer Lifeline staff and volunteers! As a board member, the things I most admire about Cancer Lifeline and its staff are perseverance, ingenuity and compassion. Perseverance, for the ability to push through in times of adversity (something the last 12 months has taught us all). Ingenuity because they are constantly evaluating and asking, how can we do this better? And compassion, for those living with cancer and their loved ones.

When my mom was diagnosed with cancer several years ago, it was a scary and stressful time for her, for me and our entire family. Her battle with cancer showed me how important an emotional support network is for cancer patients and their families. That's why I jumped at the chance to support Cancer Lifeline when I was first introduced to the organization several years ago. Cancer Lifeline's free support groups, classes, online chat, and financial assistance supports thousands of people in our community who are living with cancer. I am so grateful for the hard work and compassion this organization gives every day for cancer patients and their families. Sam and I are thrilled to support this amazing organization. Please help us support cancer patients and Cancer Lifeline by donating today. Thank you!
Hi Friends and Family! Thanks for considering donating to Cancer Lifeline's Breakfast with Friends event. CL is an amazing organization, doing great things for PNW patients and families navigating a cancer diagnosis. For nearly 48 years, Cancer Lifeline has helped thousands build strength through support groups, classes in nutrition, exercise, personal expression, stress reduction, personalized emotional support, and financial support. It means a lot to me that you would support this wonderful cause. Hope you are doing well! Love, Annie
Cancer Lifeline is an outstanding organization devoted to improving quality of life for cancer patients and their caregivers. Now more than ever, cancer patients need opportunities to safely attend support groups, take gentle yoga classes, and learn more about navigating treatment. Cancer Lifeline pivoted immediately when the pandemic hit so immunocompromised patients could continue to receive support and connect with the Lifeline community. This work is close to my heart professionally and personally and I hope you'll support this wonderful team.
