K9 Kratos worked for the Roanoke Police Dept for 6 yrs as a patrol and narcotics K9. During his time here he was involved in countless high tartlet arrest at both local and federal level. During his last few working days K9 Kratos was apart of Federal task force when his back went out and put him down. After learning of the three herniated discs and not being able to operate he has since been enjoying a lot of lounging and sun time. She was trained as a single purpose K9 in Explosive Detection, and worked at Fairchild Air Force Base, which is located about 12 miles from Spokane, Washington. During her time at work, she served on two United States Secret Service missions; one to San Diego and another to Japan. She also responded to three off-base bomb threats. K9 Lady, or "Lady Bug," as her handler, now owner, likes to call her, is a loving, goofy dog, who still acts like a puppy. She is full of energy, enjoys playing fetch, and is learning how to swim during her retirement! Landrey now sleeps with that picture next to her bed and has a stuffed German Shepherd named Lady.

RMWD Lili is a prior Military Working Dog who served 5 years as a patrol/explosive dog at Fairchild AFB, WA. She’s been deployed to Qatar, done Secret Service Missions to the Trump Tower in NYC as well as a TDY outreach event in Canada. Lobo aka Max is German Shepherd, born on March 2, 2015 in Germany. He weighs 75 lbs and worked with me his entire career. Lobo served the City of Casa Grande Police Department from November 2, 2017 until his official retirement date of March 14, 2021. Lobo was a dual purpose K9, meaning he can work patrol duties such as searching for suspects and weapons and identify and discover illegal narcotics. During Lobo’s career, he has been responsible for approximately 400 team arrests. Lobo was a great Narcotics dog and responsible for many narcotic seizures. Lobo was responsible for multiple apprehensions. On one occasion, Lobo located and apprehended a barricaded subject hiding in a residence. Lobo has located several firearms discarded by fleeing suspects, all in separate incidents. On another occasion, Lobo located a firearm that was discarded by a fleeing suspect who had pointed it at one of our own Police Officers during a traffic stop. K9 Luca spent a short time in the military searching for drugs at Naval Station Everett in Washington state. During her career, she had two "real-world" finds and countless hours of deterrent detection. After only two years of working, Luca suddenly developed Immune Mediated Bilateral Retinal Detachment, which forced her to be dispositioned from the United States Navy. She is on the road to recovery and is doing well at home with her former handler. Luca loves long walks and sleeping on the couch with her KONG by her side. K9 Lucas was born in Slovenia and made his way to the United States in 2012 at the age of one. He trained in Montgomery County, Maryland, to do Explosive Detection and Patrol work. He served his community for nine years and is trying to settle into retirement. He hasn't lost his drive at all! MWD Luma served the United States Army as a Dual-Purpose Explosive Detection and Patrol dog. While on deployment, Luma conducted sweeps at the Diplomatic Headquarters in Riyadh, Saudia Arabia and helped secure the safety of over 1,500 Eskan Village residents. Luma recently retired due to a mass on his heart and fluid in his abdomen. He's almost 11-years-old and still acts like a puppy! SPONSORED BY: K9 Lycos joined the Galloway Township Police Department in September of 2011 and was partnered with K9 Officer Scott Winneberger. K9 Lycos was a patrol trained K9 and specialized in tracking, evidence search and criminal apprehension. K9 Lycos competed in regional competitions receiving many awards. K9 Lycos qualified for the 2013 National USPCA Police Dog Trials in Punta Gorda, Florida and although he did not win any awards at the National Trials, K9 Lycos had an outstanding performance. K9 Lycos had a very successful K9 career resulting in locating many missing persons and criminals. K9 Lycos once apprehended and subdued a criminal who attempted to use a sword against his handler protecting K9 Officer Winneberger from harm. K9 Lycos retired early in 2014 due to a medical issue and became a member of the Winneberger family. K9 Lycos enjoys retirement life and loves socializing with the neighborhood kids. K9 Lycos is the best house dog ever and in his older years enjoys his afternoon naps under the bushes in his yard. Majo is a 9-year old black Czechoslovakian Shepherd. Prior to retirement, Majo was specialized in detecting all explosives including firearms. Majo worked throughout Pennsylvania and surrounding states. During his tenure, he served on presidential candidate details, sporting events, and concerts. At 9-years old, Majo is energetic but he is transitioning to retirement. Majo likes to lay at the front door and watch people walk past. Mala had opportunities to participate in joint training with OPD, at Port Canaveral, at Patrick Air Force Base, with FHP, UCF Police K9, and more throughout Central Florida. K9 Mala served as an explosive detection canine from 2020-2023 with TSA in San Francisco. Although she had a very short career, she was requested to assist multiple federal agencies in high profile events all over the Bay Area and assisted her teammates in Portland. K9 Mala was always eager to attend any trainings she could get to! She brings endless joy and laughter to every person she encounters as she is all love and is very very silly, but when it came down to work, she was laser focused and always on point. K9 Mala's favorite thing to do is run & play fetch with her new sister, K9 Cila, and her brother, retired K9 Ryker. Mala loves to go to her brother's toy bin and take ALL of his toys out and chew up as many as possible. She also really loves her new queen size bed & a sofa that she'll share with her mommies on occasion. "Mala is the happiest and silliest dog with the biggest personality. She can be sassy at times, mostly cause she knows she's right and won't take no for an answer, but she has brought so much joy and love to my life. I'm eternally grateful for all she has taught me over the last few years. She has filled my life with love and so much laughter and I'm so glad to be her mom!"
