Help Team River's Wish take home the gold! Join as an athlete who raises money OR you can carry the torch as a donor. Either way, YOU are a champion for the animals! Be sure to spread the word to your friends, family and co-workers so they can get in on the fun! Everything you need to know about The Goat Games can be found here in the FAQs. We’re all in this together as a team! You can help encourage others by printing our team bib, posting on social media with the #TheGoatGames2022, and showing all the fun and creative ways that you’re going for the gold! Meet Team Captain Toby! Toby’s wavy locks and sweet personality charm everyone who meets him. He and his companion Frosty moved to the sanctuary when their person passed away in the Fall of 2021. Unlike a lot of our residents, Toby has only ever known love. Unfortunately, so many that find their way to our door have suffered unimaginable abuse and neglect. For more than 25 years, River's Wish has been saving lives through rescue, education and advocacy. By treating animals as individuals and expressing both their wonder and plight through art, we foster empathy and understanding that leads to compassionate life choices. With Goat Games, we are raising money for our future, right alongside Captain Toby and all his friends at River's Wish. Will YOU go for the gold as we strive to raise $20,000 for the care and feeding of our residents? As a sanctuary serving the Inland Northwest for more than 25 years, we are home to a large senior population who require special care and interventions. Your generosity goes a long way to providing the love and comfort all our residents deserve. About River's Wish Animal Sanctuary River's Wish Animal Sanctuary saves lives through rescue, education, and advocacy. I’m taking part in the 2022 Goat Games from Friday, August 12th through Monday, August 15th to help rescued farmed animals! The Goat Games is a virtual fundraiser for 13 animal sanctuaries across the country, and you can be a champion right where you live, work and play. I’ll be mooooo-ving to raise money for my favorite sanctuary and I’m asking for the support of friends and family to help me reach my goal! You can help me get the GOLD for animals by sending a gift through the “Support by Donating” button on this page. No contribution is too small, and every dollar you give will go towards providing safety, dignity, and love to farmed animals in need. Thank you for your kindness and generosity — and for making the world a more compassionate place for animals!

Help this old goat raise money for Team River's Wish and Captain Toby. In addition to the usual work I do at the sanctuary, I will be creating some one of a kind brooches of special goat friends at the sanctuary during the Goat Games. Would appreciate your sponsorship of me working on jewelry pieces that will then be sold to bring in additional funds for the goats and their friends.

Help Team Indraloka take home the gold! Join as an athlete who raises money OR you can carry the torch as a donor. Either way, YOU are a champion for the animals! Be sure to spread the word to your friends, family and co-workers so they can get in on the fun! Everything you need to know about The Goat Games can be found here in the FAQs. Thank you for joining Team Indraloka! The sanctuary provides "heaven on earth" for farm animals that have nowhere else to turn. Our mission is to inform, inspire and empower the community, especially children, on ways in which we can better care for ourselves and the environment while helping animals in need. We advocate for a kind and compassionate lifestyle that protects animals, the earth, and our own health. By participating in the Goat Games you are helping not only the hundreds of rescued farm animals and all who love and care for them, but the thousands of humans who visit them every year! Through our innovative education programs, humans of all ages have the chance to embrace compassion and fall in love with animals like Franklin, our 2022 Goat Games Captain. Franklin was found alone on a busy highway on New Year's Eve. When he was brought to Indraloka, his complete terror of humans kept him on high alert. He wouldn't even lay down to sleep and shook with fright whenever anyone was close. He was weak, fighting pneumonia and a double eye infection that was so severe, it temporarily blinded him. But after just days in the care of our staff, surrounded by love and gentle hands, Franklin's fear lessened and then disappeared completely. Now, he spends his days with 2 new friends, Oreo and Oliver, running in the pastures and playing with no cares at all. His mischievous personality keeps us all on our toes but he loves hugs and snuggles from visitors. By joining Team Indraloka, you have the opportunity to help goats like Franklin and his many friends of all species. Here’s how it works: Register as an athlete for Team Indraloka and commit to run, walk, hike, bike, swim, or do an activity of your choice, anytime between Friday, August 12 through Monday, August 15, 2022. Share your support with friends and family to raise funds for Indraloka. Donate to Indraloka! You can make a general donation to our Goat Games page or find an athlete to support. Either way, you’re making a difference for Franklin and his friends. However you choose to support the Goat Games, please know that your generosity is deeply appreciated. Thank you for your commitment to the animals!

Trust can be regained. And life is worth living to it's very full. That's why I'm raising funds to help make sure he and all of his friends have everything they need to live out their best life. Will you join me in showing Franklin that he is loved? My Goat Games activity is running--I run 10 miles every week. So, between now and the end of the Goat Games, I will run 50 miles and I'm hoping to raise $1,000. That's $20 for each mile. Would you consider sponsoring me for one of those miles? I know I have 50 friends who can help! Please will you be one of them? Or--you can join me as an athlete! Pick an activity--it can be ANYTHING! Jumping, swimming, napping! Anything you want. Franklin needs you--will you join me? Everything you need to know about The Goat Games can be found here in the FAQs. Thanks for supporting Franklin, Indraloka and me!

I'm so excited to join The Goat Games this year with the help of my pal, Ramona! I plan to bike 10 miles during the Goat Games to raise funds and be a champion for the animals! I'm taking part in The Goat Games because I have seen firsthand what love and compassion can do for an animal in need. I have worked at Indraloka for just over a year, and I saw just how sick and scared little Franklin was when he was first rescued. Hearing updates from my team members caring for him left me so excited for his future! While he came to Indraloka a sick and scared little goat, he quickly learned to trust the humans around him and became a funny, mischievous guy! I loved hearing about his antics while in quarantine and about the moments he bonded with staff. In just a few months' time, he was flourishing and I couldn't believe that he was the same goat that came to us on New Year's Eve! I am SO grateful that I have been able to watch Captain Franklin's transformation firsthand, and now, I'm doing my part to become a champion for animals everywhere, so that they can also receive the love, care, and compassion that Franklin has come to know. Will you join me in reaching my goal of $500 for Team Indraloka? Wear Your Team Show your support for Indraloka Animal Sanctuary by repping our official Goat Games team shirt! 100% of all proceeds go directly to our sanctuary! Go to Emmy (Emunah)

Hey everyone, I'm Emunah, but everyone calls me Emmy! I came to Indraloka last fall, so this is my first time getting to take part in the Goat Games. Even though I'm an alpaca, Captain Franklin says that everyone at Indraloka can get involved in the Goat Games. I live with another alpaca named Sandy- you might already know her! I also live with a herd of sheep and one elderly goat named Mira. She was Indraloka's Goat Games team captain last year, so she's been giving me pointers on how to take home the gold this year. Since I'm getting on in years myself, I wanted to get involved as a Goat Games athlete, but do something more leisurely and at my own pace. After much thought, I decided my Goat Games activity will be... SUNBATHING! It's my favorite thing to do, aside from grazing under the trees with Sandy and enjoying the delicious produce that the humans bring us!Will you join me in the Goat Games this year and help me reach my goal? I plan to sunbathe for 2 hours every day until the end of the Goat Games. That's 40 hours of fun in the sun! Will you sponsor one of those hours for $10? That will help me reach my goal of $400. Help Team Indraloka take home the gold! Join as an athlete who raises money OR you can carry the torch as a donor. Either way, YOU are a champion for the animals! We are BFF team Miss Lily Pie and Dominic and we are in it to win it! We're going to be swimming all day, every day leading up to The Goat Games, 'cause it's our favorite thing to do! Not only is swimming fun, but it keeps us nice and cool during the summer! Did you know we love mud because it's just like sunscreen for us? No sunburn happening here! We've been best friends since the day we met at Indraloka, many years ago. We spend almost all of our time together, whether we are swimming, napping, or snacking! If you see one of us, chances are the other one isn't too far away! We watched Mira have so much fun as the Goat Games team captain last year so we knew we just had to get involved! What better way to get active and have fun than with your best friend? Will you join our team and help us raise $500 for the Goat Games this year? Help Team Indraloka take home the gold! Join as an athlete who raises money OR you can carry the torch as a donor. Either way, YOU are a champion for the animals! Be sure to spread the word to your friends, family and co-workers so they can get in on the fun! Everything you need to know about The Goat Games can be found here in the FAQs. We’re all in this together as a team! You can help encourage others by printing our team bib, posting on social media with the #TheGoatGames2022, and showing all the fun and creative ways that you’re going for the gold! Wear Your Team Show your support for Indraloka Animal Sanctuary by repping our official Goat Games team shirt! 100% of all proceeds go directly to our sanctuary! From t-shirts, to hoodies, tank tops, long-sleeves, football jerseys and more! Choose your color and get your team shirt today.

Indraloka Animal Sanctuary

I am SOOOOO excited that I was chosen to represent Indraloka Animal Sanctuary as the Goat Games team captain this year! What an honor! Everyone at Indraloka has been so nice to me since I was found on the side of a busy highway one chilly morning. The humans told me I was found on a day called "New Year's Eve" and that the next day would be a brand new year! They mentioned something about it being a new beginning for me, and boy were they right! I was real, real scared when I came to this new big place, but not anymore! Now, I am the fearless team captain of Indraloka, and my best friends, Oreo and Oliver, have been coaching me every step of the way! My favorite thing to do is play games with them all day long. We run, jump, head butt each other, and play on this awesome slide the humans gave us! Sometimes (okay, really ALL THE TIME!) we like to play tricks on the humans. They never get mad at us, though! They just laugh and tell us how silly we are. I'm doing all kinds of activities for the Goat Games, and I wanna raise $500 for Team Indraloka as a thank you for all they've done for me. I need your help though! Will you join my team and help me meet my goal? It would really mean a whole lot to me to give back to everyone who has given me so much! Can I count on you to join my team? Help Team Indraloka take home the gold! Join as an athlete who raises money OR you can carry the torch as a donor. Either way, YOU are a champion for the animals!
