The mission of the Ferris Alumni Association is to help strengthen alumni-to-alumni, alumni-to-student and alumni-to-University connections while also promoting mutual beneficial relationships that keep alumni informed, involved and invested in Ferris State University. The Hispanic/Latino Cultural Center serves as a beacon of cultural celebration, education, and empowerment for all who walk through its doors. It's a place where Hispanic/Latinx heritage thrives, where traditions are honored, and where diverse voices are celebrated.

This fund helps students, faculty and alumni through supporting student professional travel, purchasing laboratory instrumentation and sponsoring receptions at state and national professional meetings.

This initiative enhances the student experience. With an initial lead gift from alumni Kim ('88) and Doug ('88) Hancock, plans are underway to renovate the lounge area and update furniture. Many students are in the Hagerman Pharmacy Building for 8 to 10 hours daily, in class or studying. This lounge will provide a spacious, comfortable and functional area for their hours spent while pursuing their degree.

Meet Lanysia, a passionate junior at Ferris State University, originating from Kalamazoo, Michigan. Currently immersed in 3D Animation and Game Design, Lanysia aspires to broaden her horizons through a transformative study abroad program in Costa Rica. From May 9th to June 8th, she'll be engrossed in a Spanish language and culture program, elevating both her academic pursuits and personal development. As a first-time international explorer, Lanysia eagerly seeks to intertwine her educational journey with cultural immersion, cultivating a global outlook to enhance her creative ventures.
