At the Academic Literacies Center, we strive to create an environment that encourages participation, acceptance, and a willingness to ask questions. We need your help to continue our efforts. We provide free snacks to students so that they don't have to work on an empty stomach as well as tools such as whiteboards to allow for greater visual learning. We would like to further expand our services by purchasing affordable headphones for our center computers, tablets for a quicker check-in process, a program called NetTutor to continue supporting students after-hours, and a scholarship to help our tutors afford textbooks. Your contribution is essential to allowing us to continue our great work. We hope you will consider making a donation to help the students of Ferris State University
Support Ferris State Football 2x National Champions Ferris State Football team remains resilient and committed to their journey of growth and development. As they gear up for the upcoming season and the off-season, the team is reaching out for support to fuel their continued progress. One of the key areas where your contributions can make a significant impact is in nutrition. Proper nutrition is essential for the athletes' performance, recovery, and overall well-being. By raising funds for enhanced nutrition programs, the team aims to provide their players with the fuel they need to optimize their physical and mental capabilities on the field. Additionally, the team is seeking support to acquire Catapult technology, a cutting-edge system that will revolutionize their training approach. This innovative technology enables real-time tracking of the student-athletes' work effort, allowing coaches to monitor their performance metrics, assess workload management, and tailor training regimens to maximize efficiency and minimize injury risk. Your generosity will not only help the Ferris State Football team bridge the gap between their current state and their aspirations but will also empower them to reach new heights of excellence.

The Osprey Web Cam Project Nest building and courtship feeding were among some of the details directly observed by students in the classroom. Eventually a variety of students enrolled in summer BIOL courses like BIOL 442, Ecology and BIOL 121 and 122, General Biology I and II observed egg-laying, incubation, hatching, and chick feeding behavior. To our surprise, the images reached out to more than just students enrolled in BIOL courses. It did more than bring the Osprey into our classrooms. It brought them into our lives. Recent repairs have all but emptied our account and we need funds to purchase a new camera and hookups and to pay outside contractors for a lift to gain access to the setup. The Osprey Web Cam Project is a true collaboration including people from Facilities, Welding, IT, and Biology. The 2024 viewing season will be our 16th year of operation and we could not have done any of it or continue to do so without the generous contributions of people just like you. Thank you for your love and support. https://osprey.ferris.edu/# Keep your eye on the birds.
Studying abroad can be a life changing experience that deeply affects how an individual views the world and their future career. Students who study abroad obtain cross communication skills, gain new skills, network and connect for future employment, and learn more about themselves and the world around them. They then bring those new skills and perspectives back to the campus classroom and provide diverse perspectives. This fund will provide funding opportunities for students going to study abroad and looking to earn academic credit in the world classroom!

$700 Match - Sponsored by Sheila Nero, Kathy and Marco Menezes Since 2020, the Bulldog Basic Needs Alliance has provided emergency assistance to Ferris students experiencing food and housing insecurity. Knowing that struggles with basic needs have a direct impact on student success, the BBNA strives to support students as quickly as possible. We know that hunger and homelessness can directly impact academic performance, often leading to a lack of concentration, delay in degree completion or total withdrawal from the university. With 1 in 5 undergraduate students experiencing food insecurity, and 9% of university students experiencing homelessness, your gift will help us feed the next hungry student or keep a Bulldog where they belong: right here, on our campus. In 2023, thanks to the generosity of our donors, we were able to provide 521 meal swipes to students. The BBNA also responded to a 23% increase in housing requests. Whether through meal swipes, temporary housing, funding for our campus food pantries or more, your gift to the BBNA can enormously impact a student's success. Thank you for keeping the dream of a Ferris education alive for our students.

Support our Actuarial Science Bulldogs! Ferris State actuarial science graduates help provide financial security to millions of insurance policyholders across the country. Let's help them pay for their exams so they can go out and do this good work! Actuaries have to pass a series of exams administered by central organizations. The best job applicants have passed two of these exams, and Ferris' program offers coursework to support the first two. Students have to pay for each sitting of an exam. Each sitting of the first two exams costs $260. You can sponsor an exam for a student with a donation of $260, or you can sponsor a student for both exams with a donation of $520. Providing funds for exams will help our students, and it will help our department reach out to students from groups that are underrepresented in the industry.

Welcome to Ferris State Baja Racing! We are a club at Ferris State that includes members from multiple different programs including Automotive, Welding, manufacturing, and many more. We build an off-road vehicle entirely from scratch. We start with designing the car on solid works, bending, cutting, and welding tubing to create a frame and fabricating and assembling engine, transmission, and suspension components. We race schools all across the country in off-road endurance races and compete in multiple events each year. This club allows students to learn hands-on skills and important engineering principles, while also learning great teamwork and communication skills. We are looking for donations to help us further our club and allow for more students to be able to be involved and attend races. We are also in need of new rims and tires for the four-wheel drive SAE baja vehicle build. Thank you for your consideration in donating to our club!
