Technovation is the world's largest tech-entrepreneurship education program. We empower young women to use cutting-edge technology to tackle real-world problems in their communities.

Over the past 15 years, Technovation has empowered ~300,000 young people, mostly girls and women, from 100+ countries with coding skills to solve real-world problems like poverty, climate change, and access to education. The Technovation board of directors is proud to continue to advocate for girls in STEM worldwide. To that end, many Technovation chapters continue to face challenges like access to the internet and cultural limitations set for girls. To enable these local ambassadors to reach and better serve more girls, we board members have committed to fundraising $100,000 by Technovation’s 15 Year Anniversary Benefit on August 12 at 4:00 PM PDT. It would mean the world to me if you would support Technovation by making a donation to our campaign and joining the Benefit.

During this event you will hear directly from our Technovation Girls alumnae, champions of the program, local Chapter Ambassadors, and many more. You will not want to miss this event! Register HERE.

Help us reach our $100,000 goal that will enable us to fund our local chapters for a greater local impact. Donate today

Technovation empowers girls and families to use cutting-edge technology to solve problems in their communities. Technovation increases girls' confidence and skills in STEM learning. After completing our program, surveyed participants showed that:

    • 90% of girls are more confident in using technology
    • 80% of girls demonstrate increased knowledge of problem identification and the engineering design process

These post-program survey results  predict tech career choice years later. Surveying alumnae from 9 years ago show that:

    • 97% of alumnae developed skills in computer programming, building and managing businesses, problem solving, communication, and teamwork (Technovation, 2020)
    • 50% of alumnae influenced their communities (Technovation, 2020)
    • 76% of Technovation alumni pursued a STEM degree (WestEd, 2020).
    • 60% of Technovation alumni work in STEM-related positions (WestEd, 2020).
