Feeding the Gulf Coast is providing emergency relief to those impacted by Hurricane Sally.
Feeding the Gulf Coast staff have been on the ground in our Alabama and Florida communities providing essential food and water relief since the day after Hurricane Sally’s landfall. We are fully committing our efforts, staff, and resources to reach those whose lives have been impacted.
We will continue to conduct emergency food distributions in affected communities in the days, weeks, and months ahead to ensure individuals and families have the nourishment they need to rebuild.
As so many families were already struggling with the economic pressures resulting from COVID-19, Hurricane Sally has added to their burdens with costly home repairs and destroyed food supplies. With your help, Feeding the Gulf Coast tirelessly works to ensure food, water, and other necessities are provided to those impacted by this storm.
Every $50 donated to Feeding the Gulf Coast can help provide 250 meals for families rebuilding their lives following this disaster. Please give now to help us meet the need created by this storm.
Thank you for supporting our disaster relief efforts and providing help and hope to those who desperately need it.
*100% of designated donations will support hunger relief in areas impacted by Hurricane Sally. We anticipate the need will remain for several months and individuals and families rebuild. Once all disaster relief and recovery needs have been met, any remaining donations will be used to fund ongoing disaster relief efforts or will be redirected to where the need for hunger relief is greatest.
Feeding the Gulf Coast operates three facilities along the Central Gulf Coast of south Alabama, south Mississippi, and the panhandle of Florida to feed the 1 in 5 people who are food insecure in their 24-county service area. Working with over 400 community partners, Feeding the Gulf Coast distributes more than 29 million pounds of nutritious food annually through its various hunger-relief programs, including child nutrition and senior nutrition programs.
