Soar in 4 One Family, One Neighborhood at a Time

Our Mission

Soar in 4 is Manatee County’s monthly movement to ensure all early learners and their families have the opportunities and support they need for success in preschool, school and beyond. Soar in 4 is a collaborative effort to ensure all children are reading on grade level by the end of third grade, by focusing on 15 economically disadvantaged neighborhoods.  Soar in 4 invests in strengthening families to be their child's first literacy teacher.  The Soar in 4 learning through play model provides literacy materials, books, academic resources, and the knowledge to use the materials at home.  Soar in 4 is collaborative and is aligned with community resource agencies that address social, emotional, educational and career aspirations to empower parents to provide a holistic program.
