Feeding the Gulf Coast's mission is to provide nutritious food to meet the challenge of feeding people who are hungry as a result of systemic poverty, personal crisis or disaster. In Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties, over 78,000 people, including 21,000 children, do not always know where their next meal will come from. These are the people Feeding the Gulf Coast helps every day through approximately 80 church food pantries, soup kitchens, and group homes we partner with in Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties, as well as through our hunger relief efforts such as Mobile Pantry distributions, Afterschool and Summer Meal sites, and our Backpack Program.
Your support is invaluable and makes you a hero to the families, children and seniors facing hunger everyday in our very own backyards. As our communities evolve and new challenges come our way, we know our "heroes" are here to support us.
From July 19 through August 31, we are initiating a peer-to-peer "Hunger Heroes" campaign. This mission is for our most passionate supporters! Just rally your sidekicks (friends, families, and coworkers) to stand beside you as you commit to raising $2,500.
You can make a difference in the lives of those at risk of hunger in your community. Join us this summer and be the face of hope to those in need.
If you want to become a Hunger Hero, please email Kyle Schoolar at [email protected]

Thank you for joining the fight to end hunger in Northwest Florida.
