Treasure Coast Walk n' Roll to Cure Ataxia
Event Details:
VIRTUAL Walk n' Roll!
Saturday, May 16th, 2020 at 9:00am
With everyone's safety in mind, and in accordance with state and local recommendations, the Treasure Coast Walk n' Roll to Cure Ataxia is moving to a virtual event. A virtual Walk will allow us the opportunity to get outside (where possible and done safely), connect with those in the community, and still raise awareness and funds for the fight against Ataxia!
To participate in the event you can:
-1) Tune in to Lisa Cole's Facebook page and watch the Facebook Live video.
-2) Simply walk around your neighborhood, a local park, or even inside on a treadmill or similar machine.
-3) Document your Walk with some pictures and/or videos.
-4) Submit your pictures to Lisa Cole ([email protected]). Lisa will post these pictures and submit them to NAF to be included in communications.
-5) Stay positive, connect with people when you can, and continue to tell your community about Ataxia and ask for support. The fight against Ataxia never stops, so neither will we.
Thank you!

"I have Ataxia, which won’t change, but I do want to help as many people as I can. NAF is a great resource. I will definitely get as much information as I can from NAF. I want to help others plus it’s helping me."
- Lisa Cole, Treasure Coast Support Group Leader and Walk 'n Roll Organizer
Participants/fundraisers are encouraged to personalize their fundraising pages and raise awareness and funds in support of this event
