A message from Beverly and Joe Nunn,
We had hoped that by now the pandemic we are battling would be over and life would be returning to normal, but this is clearly not the case. After the Lousiana Governor’s extension of the statewide shelter-in-place order through May 15, with the resulting uncertainties about the days ahead, we have determined to cancel the 2020 Brayden Lynn Bass Classic scheduled for May 23 on Lake D’Arbonne. Even if the order is not renewed, we feel it would be irresponsible to conduct a bass tournament as businesses re-open and we all seek to recover from weeks of unprecedented challenges. And we certainly do not want to put our anglers, volunteers, and supporters at potential risk of unnecessary exposure.
But our mission remains of utmost importance and, although coronavirus has our backs against the wall, WE WON’T BACK DOWN! Though we can’t gather together for a day on the lake, we CAN still band together to accomplish our mission of raising funds to support Catch-A-Dream Foundation! Our SPONSORS have agreed to allow us to forward their sponsorship funds directly to Catch-A-Dream, and we will conduct our annual RAFFLE with both direct and online ticket sales. With YOUR HELP we can STAND OUR GROUND and still support Catch-A-Dream in a mighty way! Now, more than ever, they will NEED our HELP!
In Loving Memory
