Thank You!
On behalf of all of us at the Center for Prevention and Counseling, we thank you for being a part of Changing the Face of Addiction. While the pandemic caused us to have a virtual walk, it did not dampen the spirits and the success of our annual fundraising event as we had a record number of supporters this year. There were 25 sponsors, 52 teams and 663 team members raising $66,783!
Our good work and strong commitment in fulfilling our mission is reflected by the success of Changing the Face of Addiction. An important aspect of the walk that was very moving, was the involvement of so many people in recovery and their families and friends. This includes many young people there to support their mom, dads, or siblings. While addiction is real, there is hope for recovery and in Sussex County, we see that recovery is real. Your support is a part of making recovery real for all seeking it.

Why we Walk
Changing the Face of Addiction Virtual Walk. Walk anytime and anywhere throughout the month of August!
This walk was founded by two Sussex County families, whose sons Eric and George lost their fight with addiction. Since its founding, the walk has grown into a community wide event that allows people to remember loved ones, celebrate recovery and provide hope for the future.
Changing the Face of Addiction Buttons and Bracelets
This year, we will be providing buttons and bracelets to registered walk participants while supplies last. Because of COVID-19, we are unable to provide t-shirts and customized team buttons as in years past. In place of these items, we are distributing unique “Changing the Face of Addiction” buttons and bracelets available for you to pick up at the Center for Prevention and Counseling’s main office. Please give Laura a call at 908-747-1149 to arrange for a pick up time. Thank you!
*All donations are 100% tax deductible. The Center for Prevention and Counseling is a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency.
You have no teams at this time.
Be the first person to donate to the cause!
