United Way of Davidson County has established the COVID-19 Community Response and Recovery Fund to support their Partner Agencies to assist those affected by COVID-19.  United Way of Davidson County is seeking to raise $150,000 for the fund and has made a $50,000 commitment to the fund.  Donations from the fund will support United Way of Davidson County Partner Agencies to help the most vulnerable populations receive critical financial and social service support during this global crisis.

United Way’s COVID-19 Community Response and Recovery Fund will mobilize our Partner Agency’s network and help keep families in their homes, food banks stocked with staples and critical social services running.

Grants will fund Partner Agencies with one-time general operating support in order to assist with the immediate needs of economically vulnerable populations impacted by COVID-19.  The COVID-19 Community Response and Recovery Fund will prioritize requests from Partner Agencies that help with food, shelter and healthcare.

A United Way of Davidson County Board Committee will oversee the application process and distribution of the funds to Partner Agencies.

An online application process for United Way Partner Agencies to request funds will be available on March 24.
