You can help those who are hungry, homeless and hurting in our community.

Your gift helps provide food, shelter and safety for our neighbors in need. Thank you for turning your compassion into action!

    Nourishing the Hungry

Did you know that 1 in 5 children are food insecure in San Diego County? Each month at our Food & Nutrition Center, over 500 households – seniors, homeless individuals and struggling families – select healthy food and access nutrition education and consultations.

    Housing the Homeless

Did you know that 8,576 people are homeless in San Diego County? Those experiencing homelessness or at risk of losing their home can work with a CRC case manager for shelter and housing resources, rental assistance, financial education and individualized support towards their goals.

    Healing the Hurting

Did you know that 1 in 4 women and 1 in 7 men are victims of domestic violence in their lifetimes? Families and individuals escaping domestic violence find safety and healing through our emergency shelter, Carol’s House, transitional housing, counseling, Therapeutic Children’s Center and legal advocacy.
Established in 1979, Community Resource Center is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that works to end hunger, homelessness and domestic violence in North County San Diego. CRC provides a domestic violence emergency shelter, hotline and prevention/education outreach, a Therapeutic Children’s Center, professional counseling, legal advocacy, food and nutrition distribution center, homelessness prevention and rental and housing assistance.
