As the Group Care Coordinator for the New Orleans field, Allie works with volunteer groups and our local partners to give both the groups and the organizations we work with the best and most effective experience possible. This requires building relationships with our partners to know what they need and how to serve them best. From trip planning to coordinating while in the field to post-trip communication, Allie works with our groups every step of the way.
Allie also contributes to the field and our partners through multimedia production. Every group that comes to New Orleans leaves with a video recap of their week to help share their experience with those at home, as well as pictures posted on social media to keep family and friends updated during their mission trip. For our partners in New Orleans, Allie develops promotional graphics and helps manage social media and website content. This is a way to advocate for our partners to their communities and promote their ministries.
As a full-time member of our staff in New Orleans, Allie raises her own support. This allows her to focus fully on our partners and groups, but it also means that she can’t do this alone. Allie needs people like you to partner with her in the work we are doing in New Orleans. A contribution to Allie will allow her to continue focusing all of her time and attention to serving, instead of seeking new forms of income. By financially supporting Allie, you are contributing not only to her and the New Orleans field, but to our local partners whom CrossRoads serves alongside every day.
