Eve Carlson has been involved in the performing arts throughout her life. At Bucknell University, she majored in theatre and sang in an a cappella group. Over the past several years she has been involved in the Baltimore arts community with organizations such as the Baltimore Improv Group and the Baltimore Rock Opera Society. She is excited to team up with her colleague Greg Burks in support of the United Way.
Greg starred in his first role at the age of 8 in the production of Oliver at Toby’s Dinner Theater in Columbia, MD. Since then, he’s performed at venues around the country, including dancing at the White House and the Kennedy Center. Currently a community programs manager in the Office of Work, Life and Engagement, Greg is dedicated to serving others within his hometown of Baltimore City.
Organization: Chase Brexton LGBT Health Resources Center
The LGBT Health Resource Center of Chase Brexton Health Care provides LGBT individuals and their families with welcoming access to expert health information and resources that will enhance wellness and quality of life. The health care system has been slow to offer comfortable and affirming health services to LGBT communities. Chase Brexton was founded for this reason. We are honored to raise money for such an important resource that supports the underserved LGBT community of Baltimore.
