Three wildfires are destroying entire towns in California. The Camp Fire, the Woolsey Fire, and the Hill Fire, have already killed 42 people, 230 are unaccounted for and torched more than 6,500 homes. Close to 100 first responders have lost their homes in these disasters already. The Camp Fire is the single deadliest fire on record in the state. Of the three major wildfires, not a single one is more than 25% contained.
While many people are fleeing the spreading danger, a special group of first responders are putting their lives in danger by trying to fight these wildfires. With the fires continuing to rage up and down California, more of these courageous men and women are likely to find themselves homeless once the danger has passed.
These brave men and women won’t have a home to go back to after their work is done. Instead, they will have to regroup with their family at some evacuation center and try to decide what to do next.We Fund a Hero

We need your help to support the first responders who are working around the clock trying to contain the infernos, helping get people to safety, and desperately trying to save lives and property, even while some of their own homes are being reduced to ashes by the fires.

Every little bit helps.
Your generous and tax-deductible donations will go to help the firefighters and other first responders who have lost homes in the blazes and have been injured while working to help protect the rest of us.Let’s Make a Difference for the Heroes
The first responders working on the front lines of the fire in California are risking their lives without sparing a thought for themselves.
But, just like the rest of us, they have loved ones and treasured personal belongings. So far 100 first responders
have lost everything, and many more at risk of losing their homes as the fires continue to spread.
As the rest of us prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving and the holidays in the coming weeks, it’s important that we let these heroes know how much we appreciate their selfless dedication and how much we honor their sacrifices.
Now is your chance to help out heroes who have done so much for so many.
