Our band of brothers will be running 200 miles across Oregon for the sixth consecutive year to raise money for cancer.

When we are grinding through those uphill runs in the middle of the night, we will know that it is nothing compared to battling cancer.  It is a horrific disease that has taken family members and friends from us way too early.  This year we will be thinking of Michael Robertson in particular, an Obama hall-of-famer, who lost his battle to cancer last fall and left behind his wife, Sahar and 2 year old son, Wali.

If you want to do something about cancer - please donate to Providence Cancer Institute.   For more than 25 years, Providence Cancer Institute has been a pioneer in immunotherapy research and treatment – considered one of the most advanced cancer therapies today. As a global leader in immunotherapy, Providence is committed to developing treatments that can cure an even greater number of patients.

I am participating in Hood/Portland To Coast Relay as a fundraiser and raising money to assist with scientific discovery and clinical advancement. Donations have funded leading-edge research and technology to make scientific discoveries and new cancer therapies possible. Help us in this fight to #FINISHCANCER

Researchers at Providence Cancer Institute are revolutionizing cancer treatments, leading the way nationally and internationally in the field of immunotherapy.  By focusing on immunotherapy, Providence scientists are discovering new ways to activate a patient's own immune system to target and eradicate cancer cells while minimizing damage to normal tissue.

Our goal is both simple and heartfelt - to work tirelessly in developing new strategies that treat, cure and prevent cancer.
