Jacksonville State University - The Flying Blind Theatre Ensemble

$0 Total Raised

$10,000 Goal

The JSU Flying Blind Theatre Ensemble has been accepted to perform this summer at the Capital Fringe Festival held annually in Washington, D.C.! The students have worked extremely hard all semester to make the show the best it possibly can be for their FOUR performances at the Capital Fringe Festival in July.

The company will be staying in Washington, D.C., July 20th-30th and has a goal of raising $10,000 to pay for travel and housing costs. Any donations to help this group of theatre students accomplish their goals of performing an original work in our nation’s capital this summer would be greatly appreciated!
The Flying Blind Theatre Ensemble (FBTE) was created as a part of the Spring 2018 Special Topics in Performance Devised Theatre class in the JSU Drama Department. The students in the class worked hard over the semester with their professor, Dr. Michael Boynton, enhancing their skills in writing, acting, directing, producing, and together, wrote an entirely new full length play in only a few weeks.
