In the 14 years that Beth Fitzpatrick served as secretary for the School of Business, she was driven by a desire to acquire new skills and take on new challenges, while also being indispensable through three rounds of AACSB re-accreditation. Beth was a superb mentor. She saw people who needed help and assisted them in a kind, and strikingly thoughtful way. Each one of her School of Business colleagues relied on Beth’s professionalism, promptness, and considerate nature. No one could better manage a difficult situation with such grace and humor.
The purpose of the Fitzpatrick award is to recognize exceptional contribution to the life of the School of Business by a student who models the traits and qualities that made Beth such a dedicated, effective, and well-loved colleague. Each winner will receive a cash award.
