Please join us in recognizing Bob Dold, recipient of the 48th Good Scout Award on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Michigan Shores Club in Wilmette, Illinois.
Since earning his Eagle Scout Rank in Troop 13, Kenilworth in 1986, Robert “Bob” Dold has been taking the Eagle Charge to heart. Throughout the years Bob was influenced by many “Good Scouters” who came before him and laid the foundation for what a Good Scout should be. This led to his journey of Service to Community and Service to Country, serving two terms as a Representative for Illinois' 10th Congressional District in the United States Congress. Bob is President of Rose Pest Solutions, the country’s oldest pest solution company. He resides in Kenilworth with his wife, Danielle, and three Scout-strong children.
The Good Scout Award has been presented annually since 1970, and recognizes top community leaders who lead by the examples set in the Scout Oath and Law. Funds raised through the Good Scout Dinner support Scouting programs that serve over 12,000 young men and women throughout Northeast Illinois.
