Please join me in supporting this year's Sponsored Spelling campaign at Holy Trinity An Episcopal School.

Our Sponsored Spelling is like a Spelling Bee except that it is completed on paper.  Students receive vocabulary lists assigned by their Language Arts/English teachers, the complexity and number of words vary by grade levels (1st through 8th grade).  Students with the support of their parents/guardians study their lists to prepare for the Sponsored Spelling test scheduled for Friday, March 23rd

Parents and students solicit their family, friends and community for sponsorship pledges (minimum of $0.25 per word) to correctly spell their assigned vocabulary list.  Upon receiving the results of the test, students will collect donations based upon the number of words spelled correctly and the pledges collected from their family, friends and community. Donations are due Friday, April 20, 2018.

Donations are electronically accepted here or you can send a check made payable to Holy Trinity Episcopal School, 11902 Daisy Lane, Glenn Dale, MD 20769.

This fundraising initiative was first created by Holy Trinity's former Language Arts teacher, Mr. William Hodge. Mr. Hodge believed in and supported our students. He dedicated himself; assisting students before, during, and after school. Mr. Hodge's goal was to raise $25,000 to provide additional academic and enrichment activities for our students. All of the funds raised during this campaign support the art, drama, athletic, and technology programs at Holy Trinity An Episcopal School.

We thank you for helping us reach our goal!  Your support helps us provide a 21st century education for our students as they develop into their "Best You".
