The University of Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks would like to present the Homerun Derby!
The Homerun Derby will support the Maryland Eastern Shore Softball team and their quest to purchase some additional equipment and necessities that will help improve our Hawks’ skills. Equipment is essential to the betterment and success of the softball program. Every season we have costs of balls, screens, nets and machines in order to set the softball team up for a successful season. Each player has a set goal amount of at least $700 to raise. We appreciate any and all amounts of donations that will put us on the path to having a successful season!
We thank you so much for your support. Helping us provide these necessities for our team here at The Shore, helps us reach our goals of winning championships all while becoming better student-athletes and preparing us for life after college.

The Homerun Derby is devoted exclusively to supporting the University of Maryland Eastern Shore softball program, and is a vital funding source for equipment and necessities. The Homerun Derby is an official activity of the UMES Foundation, and funds received will be managed by the University System of Maryland Foundation, Inc. to benefit the Hawks Softball Program.
