Marsha Swenson was a strong supporter of Success High School. She believed in giving people a second chance in life, which represents the school mascot. She believed in the strong value of higher education and continuing education. She had a passion for serving others, which explains why she chose the nursing field as her career. She later through continuing education became a nurse case manager and was certified in rehabilitation nursing and case management. In February 2013, due to her breast cancer returning after being in remission for a short period of time, she was unable to continue working her business. Marsha passed away in July of 2014. Marsha’s connection to Success High School and Round Rock ISD is through her husband Dan Swenson who has served as counselor at Success for the past 13 years.
