Pennies 4 Miles
to Help House Homeless Heroes
Drivers from Nagle Trucking Inc., Motor Carrier Service L.L.C., GetGo Transportation, and R&J Trucking have teamed up with Veterans Matter to help house our nation's homeless heroes. Each driver has pledged to drive thousands of miles over the next 3 months in support of our homeless veterans.
How You Can Support Pennies4Miles:
Click on a Driver's Team Page below to learn a little about them and read about their pledge to Pennies 4 Miles.
From Your Driver's Page (see the Drivers tab below) click on the Donate Pennies4Miles button to make a pledge in support of your Pennies 4 Miles Driver. You can make a one-time, weekly, or monthly pledge anytime throughout the duration of the campaign (October 1 -- December 31, 2020).
Pledge amounts are based on the number of miles your driver has pledged to drive (which you can see on their Driver page) and the amount you choose to pledge per mile (for example: 28,000 miles pledged * quarter-penny mile per mile ($.0025) = $70)
Our mission is simple, house as many veterans as we can, as fast as we can.
In 2012, Veterans Matter was launched in Toledo to house 35 local veterans and expanded nationally at the urging and support of Dusty Hill of ZZ Top, John Mellencamp, and Mitch Albom, who wanted to help house veterans in their home states.
It has now housed over 5,000 Veterans nationwide. They fought for us, now we fight for them.
