Women's Basketball IMPACT Challenge
Women's Basketball at the University of New Orleans has a rich and storied history of success. The program boasts recent greats like Houma native, Randi Brown, now playing in Europe and well-known players from past generations like Robin Martin and Sandra Hodge who went on to be the first female Globetrotter. The program has produced over 248 graduates who went on to be professionals in fields ranging from teachers and doctors to entrepreneurs, coaches, and more. Every one of them bleeds blue and silver.
For the past nine years, the program has been under the leadership of one of our very own, Coach Keeshawn (Carter) Davenport. Coach Davenport wore the New Orleans jersey from 1997 to 2001 and she sees her role as so much more than a coach, but as someone who IMPACTS the lives of young women.
Today we ask for your support so that you may join us in impacting lives as we continue on our road to another Southland Conference appearance!
We ask for your participation in the Women's Basketball Impact Challenge to raise $10,000 for needed facility upgrades and program improvements. These funds will allow us to make positive changes for our program that boost our recruitment efforts and give our current student-athletes the experience they deserve.
Join us today - every gift makes an impact, however big or small!
Thank you and Go Privateers! #NOLAsTEAM
