Approximately 65% of the student body at Plymouth State University falls under the categories of first-generation college students, financially needy, and/or have a documented disability. TRIO Club is an organization that was created to provide students from this population with experiences that they may have never had the opportunity to participate in before due to their circumstances.

This club focuses more so on the social aspects of college and creating an atmosphere where individuals feel safe and know that the group that they are with understands the exact situation that they are in.

With funding provided by generous donors, the TRIO Club intends to bring students on trips such as hiking, camping, bowling and much more. In addition to this, the club wishes to be able to provide students with some financial peace of mind by providing them with funds to help pay for their books as well as scholarships so that the students can participate in professional development and acquire professional clothing for their major.

Any donation, no matter how big or small, can make a significant difference in one of our students lives. Thank you for your consideration!
