Each year, Model United Nations takes part in a global conference hosted by Harvard University. This year, the conference will be held in Madrid, Spain. At this conference, we practice diplomacy and cooperation in the context of international relations, by representing the delegations of foreign countries to participate in a procedural simulation of a United Nations setting.
MUN provides the perfect environment for future global citizens and leaders to practice skills such as negotiation, compromise, critical thinking, and creative problem solving. Not only does this conference put PSU’s name on the global map and contribute positively to the global community, our students also come back with a greater sense of foreign affairs, and a more creative and confident attitude towards problem solving.
We realize that our request is very large and are doing some fundraising so any donation is greatly appreciated!
